RAO UES of Russia has completed the first phase of the implementation of an advanced digital communications system and has chosen Sepura TETRA radios. Unified Energy System is the largest power holding in the Russian federation and generates 69.4 percent of the general electricity output. The majority of the radios will be used by UES dispatcher and control center. Some terminals will be specifically used on Moscows TETRA network for data services.
